Diwali card

 

Hi Friends !! I am making diwali cards these days . Sharing one of them . Its lil difficult for me to not include flowers in my card and instead work on a diff theme  . So , trying my skills on that. This is a very common concept of making a leaf  and then Ganesha over it. I hand cut the leaf and then quilled the face on it and embellished it with 3-d outliner and glitter . Used stamps for the border.

Previously I used to make a lot of traditionally decorated stuffs , but last week when I sat to make cards I went out of ideas . Also then I ordered Ganesha stamps from Krafter's kart . Tried to make few envelopes using it. Will share soon.

Trial with stamping ;)

Hello friends!! As you know I am not at all stamping gal.... I always get amazed looking at other crafters cards using stamps. I wonder where do they get such ideas from to use stamps. Its not an easy task :P


Well I don't have a lot of collection of stamps and inks... But from all I have I have tried to create this with using stamps is different styles. I loved vertical bars part the most , used polka dots washi tapes that I won from Rachana's candy  . Isn't it a subtle , peaceful card ?? Submitting it for  creativecardchallenge    and     Pretty Paper studio  .

Thanks a lot to the challenges for encouraging me to move out of my comfort zone and try something new.

A red , blue and pink card

Hello all !! This is my take on METAL-'URGE'Y  (ICR) as well as Color Bingo - red , blue and pink.


Made this card for two of the above challenges. Had a tough time on deciding on to papers and colors. But loved the end product. The blue pp is my win from hands2hearts and the pink floral one is from dear friend Darshana during ICR official meet held in Pune. I have used quilled royal flowers , sentiment is hand written using 3d outliner . I have used golden safety pins (as metal) to embellish butterfly's body.  The card is based on second sketch by ICR.

Love bear cards

 Hi all , This time I have created few cards very different from my usual style. I had this archies planner book with me which I was not using as such. So I cut the bears from the book and made these cards. Ofcourse some touch of quilling has to be in my cards , so here it is. I have used 3d out liner to write sentiment . 

The Monthy planner from Archies, I used the bears from this. Although I thought twice and thrice  before cutting them as they are so cute.

Hi friends!! I made this card around a month ago.Once I bookmarked the below image form web , found it very pretty . Instead of bird I have used a butterfly (Obsessed with butterflies) . But I am not yet done with this image.. I am planning to make another big project using the same font with birds.

In this card the font is hand drawn. The inside filling is beehive. I have used a Malaysian flower in place of 'o'  and corrugated sheet . I love this card.;)

Fringe flower love

Hi.. I made this card last night for 4craftychicks challenge. I love fringe flowers so much , specially these with pastel subtle colors. Blue and pink paper is velvet sheet , I have done floral drawing to enhance it with camlin 3d outliner  .

Birthday card!

Hi all , I made this cute birthday card 2 days back. With no systematic designing , I just happened to arrange it this way and love the outcome.

The balloons are hand cut from glittery foam sheets . The gift box and fringe flowers are quilled.Sentiment sticker is from pie lane. I have used twine to make strings ,teddy button is gifted to me by Jovita and the blue stripes washi tape is my win from Rachana's candy.

Hi ... How are you all ?? We are having fun with family on this long weekend.

Mean while I made this simple card , Similar to the one I saw on littleatticart long back. The cups and tags are hand cut. Very less quilling unlike my most of the cards :) .

Butterfly card again !

Hi friends !! I have lots of cards ideas in mind these days.. So I am making it a point to make atleast one card a day.

This is my another creation today. Butterfly is hand cut and hand drawn on glitter foam sheet. Circles are cut out from patterned paper ( Which I got from ICR swap by dear friend Darshana) . Fringe flowers are one of my favorite . I have used jute twine to make border .

Chirpy card

Hi Friends , I made this chirpy bright yellow card last night. The background yellow paper is a handmade sheet with yellow fringe flowers . The branch and bird is stamped one.The silver lace from my stash. I have used 3d out liner to highlight.

Tricolor card !

Hello !! Firstly Happy Friendships day to all my dear blogger friends.

Now Whats with this new tricolor card!!! Ha ha well as soon as I saw the independence day tricolor card Challenge on itsybitsy , I was eager to make one , And this is what I came up with.

All the materials used in this card are local buy. The saffron background is a velvet paper. As I am fond of quilling I have used royal flower and royal leaves. The sentiment is a stamp from krafterskart on a green colored patterned paper which is looking very light in the picture. The border punch is the one I won from hands2hearts for my quilled-cycle card .

Blue Beauty card

Hi Friends!! Friendship's day is around. This is my card for this beautiful occasion. The flower is quilled using husking technique. Both the tags , below the flower and sentiments one are recycled price/brand tag from newly shopped tees.

Quilled cycle

My version of quilled cycle. I wanted to participate in ICR -   CELEBRATIONS + MASCULINE PROJECTS!!!!

So I planned to quill a cycle , every man must have used at-least once in his life. Reminding them about their old forgotten friend by this card is a great idea. To execute this idea beautifully  I found this card in my bookmarked list  . Isn't it a fabulous one.
